- No
use of jacking devices, jack stands, or any other similar equipment on the
pavement anywhere on the course. Plywood or other suitable material must be
used to protect the track surface from equipment.
- Vehicle
maintenance shall not be performed on the track surface, NO EXCEPTIONS!
- No
vehicles are permitted to run on track prior to the arrival of Emergency
Medical Staff with proper safety equipment.
- Vehicles
may run only pre-approved course layouts. Street cars may not run unrestricted
outer loop laps.
- If
a vehicle puts two tires off pavement, the lap must be aborted immediately and
the vehicle driven at low speed to a staging or pit area and checked for damage
before continuing.
- If
a vehicle puts three or four tires off pavement, the lap must be aborted
immediately, and the vehicle taken to a slow speed to the pit area. The vehicle
and/or driver may not continue until the driver has reported to the safety
stewards. Failure to do so will result in ejection from the facility.
- Any
driver who has been off pavement (two or four wheels) three times in one day
may not make any more runs.
- No
passing is permitted. Proper separation between vehicles must be maintained at
all times.
- No
passengers are permitted.
- All
safety equipment (seat belts, helmets, etc.) must be properly utilized any time
a vehicle is under power on the course.
- Immediately
report any oil or other fluid spills on pavement to the safety crew, who will
initiate cleanup activities.
- Ask
the safety crew for instructions on proper disposal of used oil/solvents.
- Improper
disposal of hazardous waste will not be tolerated.
- Please
keep all access gates closed at all times when using the facility to prevent
unauthorized access.
