Attendance towards the end of 2008 was great, and hopefully it will continue!  For 2009, we need to make some changes to help make paying for track time more streamlined.  These changes include:

1.   At the time of registration, drivers will be sent a PayPal notification.  A check in advance is also welcomed if a driver would prefer an alternate payment method.  Drivers are encouraged to register early.

2.  PayPal notifications will be for $80.  This figure is based on 14 attendees.  If fewer drivers attend, driver should bring cash or check for difference (i.e., upcharge).  If track cost is less than $80, driver can either be refunded at the track or use overpayment towards next track event.

3.  Drivers who do not pre-pay will pay $15 in addition to the track costs.  

4.  If a driver prepays, and does not attend the event the driver will receive a $25 refund.  This rule is put in place because several times drivers are registering, and then not attending.  Since we have a limited number of spaces drivers who want to attend are left out.  Furthermore, I am responsible to the track 14 days in advance, and no-shows result in my personal funds covering track time because it is not fair that one attended an event assuming 15 cars would be present and then find out that only 9 cars were in attendance resulting in higher costs.
